I have worked for over 12 years in the area of automotive diagnostics. I worked for Snap-on/Sun Diagnostics
on development of diagnostics products for a number of products. I have worked on a number of automotive
communication protocols over the years (CAN, J1850, KW2000 and ISO) for many US, European & Australian
makes.
1. define and implement automotive data network (CAN etc) APIs, abstracting OEM specific interactions. These APIs should be targeted for inclusion in the MeeGo QT / QML based application framework. This should include some discovery service that finds elements that support the APIs.
